Why would anyone need or want a private mortgage, you ask?

There are certain kinds of properties that the institutional lenders shy away from, such as raw land, garages, farms and many more.
Investors are having a difficult time qualifying for multiple properties. For a quick fix and flip, more and more of us are turning to a private lender.
Some people have very weak credit or are unable to show income plus a whole host of other qualifying issues, as the banks have tightened almost all their lending criteria.
